Every month the Black Horse Western series provides new paperboard (hardbacks without a dust jacket) novels. The books are short, action-packed western yarns, and are written mainly by modern writers. They are published by Robert Hale Ltd, a London publisher. Ulverscoft reissue many Black Horse Westerns, typically as Linford Western Library paperbacks.
New books are available in some large bookshops, from on-line retailers such as Amazon.co.uk, and from Robert Hale. Self-publishing venture
